Lake Villa Maria – an Independent Living apartment complex for seniors – is located on the south end of the Divine Providence Community Home campus, just east of Sleepy Eye Lake. We offer studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments with a kitchenette and walk-in shower.
The Lake Villa Café is accessible from both Lake Villa and Divine Providence Home. Tenants can purchase delicious hot meals at noon. Fresh coffee is available at any time. The spacious living room and lovely courtyard with a gazebo offer additional spaces for meeting with family or sharing time with friends. Additional features include an on-site laundry facility, ample parking and guest rooms, which are available for a nominal fee. Utilities and basic cable are included.
Our housing manager is on-site during the weekdays. Tenants are welcome to join in on Bingo and card games, watching a movie on the big screen while relaxing on a comfortable chair as well as a monthly birthday party and an occasional group outing. The group even gets together to cheer on the Vikings to a victory!
If you enjoy socializing, you’ll find card groups and a quilting group, as well as new friends who enjoy walking around the grounds or venturing over to the Lake and local parks.
The Divine Providence Chapel offers daily Mass and is open 24 hours for prayer or peaceful reflection. Contact us for more information or to be placed on our waiting list.
