“The food is always good here.” We hear that often, both from our residents and the guests who dine at our Lake Villa Maria Café . Our dedicated Kitchen Crew prepares two home-style meal options every day, with a variety of sides and entrees that combine to make the meal just right and to satisfy ‘most any taste. And just for fun, our Dietary and Activities staff work together throughout the year to offer Theme Night dinners, including Pizza Nights, Carl’s Corners’ Chicken, Belgian Waffle nights and more. Is the food good here? You betcha! Just ask our residents.
Lake Villa Café
The same great meals our residents enjoy are also available in the Lake Villa Café. The Lake Villa Café provides hot meals at noon, weekdays, for Lake Villa Tenants, and for Divine Providence Residents when families or friends visit and want to share a meal. The public is also welcome, and many friends from the community come to enjoy great food at a great price. If you’re passing through Sleepy Eye at lunchtime, stop in for a bite to eat. You can enjoy a delicious hot meal with a beverage and dessert for under $10. The main dining room seats 50 and is handicap-accessible. (Reservations required for groups of six or greater). Holiday Dining
“There’s no place like home for the holidays.” But as “getting home” gets harder, we offer a wonderful option: share a traditional holiday meal with your loved one in our Lake Villa Café and Fireside Room. Our delicious meals have become so popular that reservations are a must! So whether it’s Easter, Thanksgiving, Mother’s Day or Christmas, the family can enjoy the holidays together – at “Grandma’s place.”
